I'm trying to get some information about my grandfather's family. He was Ernest Franklin Dukes and was born in 1889 near Ruthsburg on the eastern shore of Maryland. His father was Thomas Dukes and mother Mary Ann Lang. My father never met either of them, and hardly knew his uncles and aunts: Walter, Florence, William, Effie, Virginia, and Claire. I would like to trace the family back further, I don't know who the parents or siblings of Thomas or Mary Ann, but I've had no luck.
