Gwen, I appreciate your responce. I have had some responces from his nephew. We discussed your Uncle at some length. What was so unusual was his first name, being the same as mine. There was also the name Andrew that kept coming up. What I needed to know was if he ever lived in Calif. And if he did, was it in Ventura, Calif. I also learned later that he had been called, "Andy," and may have been married to a nurse. None of which I could confirm. You see my orginal name was Clifford Eugene Duhon. I was later adopted. I never knew this until 1999. It was the shock of my life and I never knew my biological father. I have been searching for him since. More, hopefully, facts have come out and it is now thought his first name was Andrew, as the "Andy," is short for Andrew. I don't really know, I haven't had much luck in getting any infor from any other Duhon. I have found an Andrew Duhon in New Iberia, and have written him a letter which he never responded to. I have sent other e-mails to Duhons in New Iberia, and again have had no responses. I don't mean to hurt anyone, just find out the truth and the other side of a family I never knew. Time may be running out for me as who ever he may be will be getting up in age. He may not want anything to do with me, as he has never attempted to make contact all my life, and I don't want to mess up his current life. I did talk to Clifford's brother, and he told me that Clifford had never been to Calif. If you have any other info that might help me I would appreciate it. I sent a picture of me to Clifford's brother when I was about 19, and then one when I was 46. There was no response. Anyway, just thought I'd give you alittle data to know why I had the question posted. Thanks again. Cliff
