In my husband's family there was a cousin, a Rev. William Duhigg, a Roman Catholic priest who was either from Manhattan or Brooklyn, N.Y. He inscribed a bible in 1923 for my mother-in-law. Her name was Florence Mullins. Her grandfather William Francis Mullins was from Cork and his wife Mary Clifford was from Limerick. William Francis came with his family of two children to Manhattan about 1860. I know nothing more about Mary Clifford.

I pass this information on to you but at present I have no further information about these families. I have been working on my own families for some time and plan to start on my husband's in a few months when I retire. I will then contact the historian/archivist for those dioceses for information about Fr. Duhigg. I'll let you know what I find out.

Sue
