I was suspecting that Thomas M Dugger might be Thomas Marion Dugger so was very happy to see that information.

Regarding Alexander Marion Dugger, he had more than one marriage (I have the census data). I suspect that wife Elizabeth died prior to 1870. You probably have that information already.
