19th Century Georgia Duggers

My greatgreatgrandfather was Joseph Anderson Dugger who was born 1852 in Cedartown, Georgia. His siblings were Martha J. (b. 1844), William (b. 1846), Charles Claborn (b. 1848), Margaret E. (b. 1850), and John L. (b. 1854). His parents were John Dugger (1823-1863) and Sarah Owens (1824-?), m. Paulding Co. GA 1843. Family tradition (unsubstantiated) has it that Joseph's father John was a confederate soldier who died of typhoid at Fort Sumter, S.C. Any info?
