I was born in McKinney, Texas but was raised
in Dallas. My mother was a Pullen. Her father
was from Maury Co., Tn. My GGGgrandfathers son Joseph Pullen m. Catherine Dugger & a
Parthenia L. Pullen m. A Dugger. I went to McKinney all the time as a child & remember
hearing my relatives mention the Dugger
Grocery Store. Although I dont believe my
mother or her sister who lived in McKinney all her life ever knew there was probably a
connection. I never knew till I started my
research. If you have never been to McKinney
it is a pretty town. There are many pretty homes & a lot are historical marker homes now. The original movie "Benji" was all
made in McKinney.
Let me know if you want to ask a question.

P S The Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney has someone there everyday & a list of people buried there & a map of the location. I am
sure there a lot of the Duggers buried there.
Anyone in McKinney can tell you where the cemetery is. It is real easy to find.
