Marguerite Arthemise Dugas was the wife of Étienne Marcelin LeBlanc. The 1850 thru 1870 census proofs that. However, Etienne Marcelin LeBlanc married or had an affair with a black woman who worked on his Sugar Plantation. Her name was, Susane Joseph. Susane Joseph was the daughter of Francisco Joseph. The 1850 census record states that Francisco Joseph was from Portugal.
