Antoine DUFOUR b. abt 1800, Bordeaux, France. Married abt 1835-40 to Helena KEVICK (b. 1815, Bremerhaven, Germany). Antoine was a drygoods merchant in New York City. Had 4 daughters & 1 son between 1841-1850 (all believed born in NY): Rosalia Elizabeth, Helena Christina, Mary Eliza, Anna Marie, and Anthony who died as a child. Antoine died after 1855, place unknown. Helena and daughters moved to California about 1854, lived in Red Bluff for 1-2 yrs, then settled in Dutch Flat. Helena subsequently married Andrias SONNTAG, and Phillip FARR. Helena died 1894 in Oakland CA.
Would appreciate any info regarding ancestry of Antoine Dufour and Helena Kevick.
