Hello Sandra: For James Duffy B 1833 (exact), somewhere in Ireland, with a father forenamed John, I found 0 rcds. This infers: 1) some of your info is incorrect. 2) the rcds didn't survive. Or 3) the rcds haven't been transcribed. Note - 5 counties (Monaghan, Clare, Carlow, Wexford, and Waterford haven't had their records transcribed. Also, more rcds are added occasionaly to the other 27 counties databases. For John Duffy M 1829 +/- 4 yrs, somewhere in Ireland, I found 44 rcds - too many to easily summarize here. For Mary Whitley M ditto, I found 1 rcd, 1835, Co. Galway, St. Nicholas CI parish. However, there is NO matching rcd for John. For Johanna Sughrue B ????, somewhere in Ireland with the father's forename unknown, I found 1 rcd, 1845, Co. Limerick. It appears James Duffy followed the Irish naming tradition. This is helpful in identifying rcds for the previous generation. Hope this helps. Good luck. Notify Administrator about this message?
