The Duffy's of New Castle and Martic, DE + PA.

My G.Granfather was Edward Reese Duffy b. May 1892 in Marticville, Lancaster PA. Edward Reese married Ann Brabson in 1916 at Fulton and had three living children with her; James(b. 1918), Amelie (b. 1929), and Robert(b. 1926). He died in 1957 in New Castle, DE.

He had two siblings both born in Marticville also jsut referred to as Martic.

Oscar W. Duffy b. Dec. 1889

His parents were James (b. Oct.1858) and Birtee[sometimes Bertha](b. Apr. 1870) Duffy, that at the time of the 1900 census were living in Marticville. That's all I have on the.

James (b. Oct. 1858) lists his father as being born in Ireland and his mother as Pennsylvania native. I would suspect that James' father's name is also James Duffy (Duffey) but I have yet to find any trace of him.

The family appearantly stuck close to Lncaster county. Any information on Edward Reese, his silbings, or his parents would be greatly appreciated. I believe Edward at a a time was the private dairy farmer to the Duponts.
