Daniel Duffey was a stonemason who arrived in Botetourt Co.,VA around 1850. His wife was Catherine Gleeson (b:Dec. 1, 1829;d:Nov.3, 1900.Their children were: James M.(married Virginia W. Peery), Lucian B.(married Emma Vandergrift);Mary E.;Thomas J. (married Virginia Caldwell), Charles W. (married Mollie Gray)and Floyd Alexander (married Ruth). James is my ggrandfather. Would be interested in any information you would be willing to share. I'm sure that I may be able to provide additional info., if you so desire. I have several questions. Glad to hear that you are exploring the family history, too!
