Michael C. "MC" Duffy were in Kansas by 1860. They had four daughters, Mary, Margaret, Anna, and Katie. Anna married Frederick Treff, Margaret m. John McMahon, and Mary m. William Einhellig and Frank Einhellig. Various census records tell us that Michael was born in Ireland, but it is believed that he immigrated to Canada prior to coming to US. Other records give his birth ca. 1840 as Canada. His wife Margaret "Maggie" was either born in Canada, Ireland, or Rhode Island. I know that sounds crazy but various census records give various places of birth. I know she had a cousin in Alberta Canada named McGee. Anything osund familiar?
