My grandfathers brother was a James Duffy. The family was orignally from Kilmoveigh County Mayo.and moved to Lancashire in the early 1900's. James emigrated to America in the 1930's (we think) and had two children. A son also called James who may have been a pilot and a daughter, possibly called Monica who became a Roman Catholic nun. I wonder if there is any connection with the Duffy's you are researching?

Rachel
