Don't know that this is anything. My great-grandmother, Mary Anne Duffy, was born in County Meath, 1870. Had a brother, Otis, and sisters, Jennie and Kate. Don't have info beyond that. Mary Anne came to US - don't know if already married to great-grandfather, John McCarroll, b. County Tyrone, 1864. Settled here, had seven kids, etc. etc. etc. If you can find any connection, please pass it on. And I will do also. Oddly enough, if name patterns hold, sort of, their first son was James.
