Victoria, I posted info on my Duffys at an earlier date, 12/14. See particularly the one on Trenton, NJ. My gr-grandfather, Michael Duffy, came to this country around 1884, lived in Providence, RI, and left for Trenton, NJ in 1889 to work in the potteries there. Since he had been a master potter back in Longton, Staffordshire, it was a natural place to go. With him was his wife, Catherine Burns Duffy, his grown sons, John and Thomas and 15 year old George (my grandfather). Also with him were daughters Ellen Duffy Coleman (with husband John), Catherine, and Mary. His eldest son, John, was also married and apparently two of his daughters were born in Providence. Does any of this sound familiar? Thanks, George
