TOM&COLLUMBUS DUFFEY/RICHLAND PARISH, LA

Seeking information regarding the parents of Thomas and Collumbus Duffy. Thomas married Josephine Epinet McCarthy in Richland Parish, Louisiana in 1888. It is believed the Duffy family moved to Texas from Alabama, and later around the 1870's (possibly eariler)moved to Richland Parish. Have not been able to establish who Tom's parents were, but according to oral tradition, his father was killed in the Civil War. I would appreciate any help procuring information regarding this family.
