I am trying to find information on Samuel David Duffey, born in 1826; married Elizabeth Smith. Samuel was the father of Marcus Monroe Duffey (my ggrandfather), who was born in Tallapoosa Co., Alabama in 1848 and married Parthena Havana Weaver, who was from Cherokee County, GA, born in 1859. Marcus Monroe and Parthena moved to Texas, Brown County and Cooke County. Are we working on the same family of Duffey's?
