Patrick Duffy born c.1817 in Co Monaghan. At least two brothers, James 1820 and Philip 1810.
They all came to Ontario, Canada and settled eventually in Mara. Patrick married Mary Ann "Nancy" Corrigan.

By about 1879 most of these children and their families were in Wisconsin. Some later moved to Iowa, Minnesota, or California.
