Looking for info on the following:
John Phillips (d 1820) Jefferson Co OH, spouse unknown. Probably lived in PA prior to move to Jefferson Co in early 1800's. Was living in OH when he purchased land.
Known children:
Jane Phillips (b c1779-1848). Married William Stone who died 1846 in Jefferson Co OH. Children ?
John Phillips (c 1785-1860); married Elizabeth Duffield (c1785-c1849) in 1806 in Jefferson Co OH. Known children: John, Duffield, Jane.
James Phillips (d 1849) leaving spouse Mary Jane Morrow Phillips and infant daughter Rebecca Jane.
William Phillips (d bef 1835), spouse unknown; known children: Alexander, Rezin, and Maria.
Thomas Phillips (b c1793) PA; married spouse Rebecca Irwin in 1823; known children James, Rebecca, Maria.
Robert Phillips (c1795-1864) who married Ruth Crawford (c1796-1868) in 1816 in Jefferson Co OH. Ruth was born in Fayette Co PA. Children: Abel, Cynthia, Greenberry, Elijah, and John. This is my line and well documented.
Much of the information on these people came from census records, wills, and land records of John Phillips when he died in 1820. Although I continue to search records, I would like to hear from anyone who connects to one of these lines or who has information on John Phillips when he was in PA in late 1700's.
