I found the death date for Elizabeth on several of the Duffey trees (Padgett, Duffey, Reith, and Gasaway as 1st Name Family Trees on Ancestry), and also, like you, couldnít find Elizabeth on any census for 1900. Iím using the date as a guideline and hopefully something will turn up. My gr gr grandma - Amy Elizabeth Pless Henderson - had a sister named Texas Ola Pless (1863-1949) who married John Thomas Knight (1859-1928). I donít know if he and Missouri Knight are related.

Thanks for the added info. If you get discouraged easily, genealogy isnít for you. My fellow Duffey ancestor who I work with on Ancestry is from Texas and he calls it riding empty wagons around. Itís rare to find a wagon even half full. But when I found your post and you answered, we felt that we had found a wagon train. The more people we find who are Duffeys, the more pieces of the puzzle we find. Iíll keep looking for more connections. Deborah
