I have a page from the Will and Deed Book I for this county and there is a mention of this man:
"Wm. Johnson, 21 Dec. 1678, paid Philarite Woodward for maintenance of his child. Thos. Woodward, John Duffie."
I am interested in knowing if this man might have had descendants who went down to Pasquotank Co., NC.
