Columbus Duffell was the half brother of Susan S.P. Duffell. Thomas L. Duffell married Susan Rentfrow in Fayette Co., GA 23 Sept 1852. Susan S. P. was born in 1854 at which time her mother died.. Thomas Then maried Martha Travis in 1855. On the 1870 Census of Fayette Co., GA Susan S.P. age 16 was living in the home of Martha Duffell age 40 along with Thomas E. age 14 and Columbus W. age 12.
On the 1860 census of Fayette Co., Susan S. P. Duffell 6 yrs old was living in the home of Patience Smith age 63
On the 1850 census of Fayette Co., Susan Rentfro 16 and Nancy Rentfro 24 were in the household of Patience Smith - I believe this Susan Rentfro is the Susan Rentfrow who married Thomas L. Duffell in 1852 and is the mother of Susan S.P. Duffell
