Alexander duffee came over about 1846 the year he purchased property in norwood. the irish famine was going on then. I believe he was only in Aston for a very short time. Probably to work at one of the woolen mills. big Irish workforce then. the duffee family later moved to Upper darby anf they where there till the 1960's. call me some time I don't type well in case you haven't figured that out yet.
