Hello John~
I have just a few snippets of info on the above and something to add. Elizabeth Duey was the last child of the above mentioned. b April 03, 1805, d October 09, 1889. I have this information, as Elizabeth is my gg grand mother. She married Georg Stroh (Straw) my gg grandfather. As to the information on Emanuel Duey, I have it somewhere arond here, and will have to look for it, but... there is a Chuck Duey that is the keeper of all the Duey information that I know of. If you search the name Chuck in the duey forum, I think you may find some of his posts from the past.
Also, on the Wert surname... I find a derivation of this to be Werth. Also,.. sorry to ramble, there is a book, The Bretz Family something or other that has a great deal of information on the Duey line.
Will send other info as I come across it.
