My Grandmother's name was Rosalia Ziebart, brother Julius Ziebart (He may have had a son named Cornelius) her sister Pauline Ziebart married Karl Mann, her sister Theophela married Adolph Weiss, her sister Fredricka married Ludwig Skubovius, and her sister Anna Katherina married Herman Skubovius - father of Edward Skubovius (married a Gaede) in the family tree information.(all from Prussia or Russia). My Grandmother Rosalia married August Tisch and had three children in Russia. (Gustav, Florentina, & Emelie). Her husband August Tisch died (1902) and she came with her children on the ship "Cassel" (a ship of the North German Ship Lines) from the Port of Bremen on June 5, 1907, Docked at Baltimore June 22, 1907 and Arrived at Port of entry Galvaston,Texas on July 1, 1907. Rosalia married John Duerksen from the Kornelius Duerksen line after she moved to the U.S. She told us (her daughter's the stories of her life & we have put it together in a book. Some of the Ziebarts & Tisch family settled in Manatoba, Canada or near Alberta Canada.exquisit1x@aol.com
