I just attended a Reunion in New Mexico in an area where a number of Duerksens lived. There were some stories written in which two different individuals mentioned Evans as living in the same area with the Duerksens. Also I did not mention that the soundex roll where I believe Abraham Duerksen's name was seen in Kansas in 1910 was D625. I hope that this helps.
