I am one of a group working on an official history of the Wisconsin 23rd Regiment . One of our men is Alonzo F. Duel who enlisted 14 Aug 1862 at WEst Point, WI and d.29 Mar 1863 at Memphis, TN - disease. I don't know where he is buried but his name is on the GAR monument at Lodi, Columbia Co., WI
This is all the information we have. If you can help us fill in any of our blanks we would be grateful.
