I am looking for William Green Dudley, born March 1810 in Kentucky. He married Lavisa Ann Ashmore in Vigo County, Indiana, in 1830, and moved to Edgar County, Illinois. By 1850, he was in Dane County, Wisconsin, and subsequently moved to Mitchell County, Iowa, where he remained the rest of his life.

I don't know who his parents were. Due to circumstantial evidence, his father MAY have been named Robert, but I don't know. One candidate is Rev. Robert Dudley of Muhlenburg County, KY, but again I don't know.
