I'm looking for any information on a Robert Dudley who purchased land from Henry & Elizabeth Willis in 1750. I have a copy of that purchase document. The selling price for the 1,000 was so small that I'm inclined to think Henry Willis may have been a step-father/brother. I am trying to connect my ancestor, Elizabeth Dudley, who named a son Willis. That name has continued to present day in my Welborn family. Any and all information will be appreciated.
