cont. John and Betsy had thirteen daughters, I believe. Therefore the name is not carried forward by sons. I have some details about marriages of the daughters. John died in 1839 on a visit to Ohio, to see his wife's sister. He was buried in Ohio, and there is also a monument in New Brunswick for him, as well. Captain John DUDGEON is well known in the rich seafaring history of Shepody Bay, Hopewell, Albert Co., New Brunswick. I would like to connect with other family genealogists.
