I have Dudeks who go back to around the 18th century.

My connection to them is through the Benes name in Bohemia.

My great great grandfather, Joseph Anton Benes, married Antonia Hejdukova whose patents were Joseph Hejduk/Haiduk and Franciszka Dudek.

So it goes like this in this family.............

*They were Hauslers in records of the parishes.
2Wenzl Dudek b. abt 1750
+Elizabeth/Alzbeta? Jelinek (this name seems to go back
Poland)
*Wenzl and Elizabeth were from Milovy CZ.
3Franciszka Dudek b. abt 1769 Milovy-CZ
+Joseph Hejduk b. Feb 21 1769 Bohemia
4Antonia Hejdukova b. Dec 31 1826 Krasne, House #17,
Moravia CZ
+Joseph Anton Benes b. Oct 28 1831 Dankovice, House #15
Moravia, CZ
*lived in Colfax Co Nebraska
5Anna Benes b. Dankovice d. as baby Dankovice Moravia
5Antonia Benes b. 1857 Dankovice, House #15, Moravia CZ
+Joseph Fajmon/Faiman
*lived in Colfax Co Nebraska
*Joseph Fajmon came to America in about 1870 with new wife
Antonia Benes Fajmon. She brought her 2 other surviving
sisters with her. Joseph and Antonia might have come
later or before.

+Josephine LUXA/Warner (she was illige and supposedly
had the father who was named ________ Luxa-There were
Luxas' in Nebraska where she grew up and she had a best
friend who was a Luxa which could have been a half sister
or cousin.

*parents Joseph Vraspir b. abt 1851 Bethlem near Policka
in CZ and Fratiska Tobias b. abt 1852 Krasne CZ
*Albin and Anna Warner Vraspir lived Platte and Colfax Co
Nebraska. His parents and family lived in Thurston Co
Nebraska.



These came from Parish records of both Protestant and Catholic religions. My cousin went to Moravia in 1990 and paid the Archive Director to search parishs and records. The Archive Director translated into German and my cousin's wife translated into English. She is German.

Jelinek family was also from Milovy Bohemia.
Hejduk family was Protestant.

This is just a little of my file.....
