I have a hand written obit from my ggrandmother on an Elizabeth Amanda (Rose) Duddleston from La Valle, WI. In part of the contense it states that on May 10, 1905 she married Joseph A. Duddleston. She left to mourn a devoted husband, 2 daughters, 1 brother, 3 step-daughters, 4-stepsons and 13 grandchidren.
Elizabeth Amanda often went by the name Amanda. She was first married to Ira A. Allen and their tombstone is in La Valle Cememtery a few yards from Joseph's. I have pictures of both. I found it neat and strange that they were buried with their other spouse and are only a few yards away from each other.
I have been searching this line for over a year. Most of my family is from the La Valle area. If you have any info on them I would appreciate it if you'd contact me. I will share what I have.
Thank you
