I have a 6th great grandmother, Margaret Susanne Duclos dit Celles born Aug. 7, 1721 in Montreal (I think). Her parents were Alexander Celles dit Dulcos and Margaret Perrot. She married on July 29, 1749 in Notre Dame Montreal to Francios Paul Denis dit LaRonde. From what I know her husband Francios was an administrator of the Fort in Detroit....Fort Pontchatrain around the French and Indian War. He died during that war also. Following his death Margaret..known as Susanne Celles went on to become the first female magistrate in North America. I also have their childrens names if you think this might be a connection. But knowing that the name Duclos and Celles are the same might also give you a new direction.
