The father of Mary Blankenship was Elisha Blankenship and her mother was Elizabeth Blankenship. Her brother was Charles H. Blankenship. They lived in Franklin Co. Elisha died before Mary married so her brother Charles gave permission to marry. She married Michael Declue Jun 7 1863 in Sullivan Mo. [There was another Charles H Blankenship in a near by county that fought for the Confederates but it was not Elisha's son] It appears that Michael and Mary married in the Cath. Chur. after the Civil War since I am told Jack Duclos' book lists another marriage date in his book in Washington Co. I have not found a death date for Mary nor a place where she is buried.
