Hi Sherry, I am not related, just trying to help you. I tried to find some info. I did find that Hyacinthe born 1867 married
3 Jul 1888 Smithfield Twp, Providence, Rhode Island to Ozilda Vieus [Viens?]. In this record, Hyacinthe's parents are given as Hyacinthe Duclos and Onesime Boulet. I was not able to find any more info for sure. However, I did find a family of Boulets
in the Marieville, Rouville area at the time. Antoine Boulet and Cecile Goyette married there 3 Oct 1809. A son, Nazaire married in Ste Marie Monnoir, Rouville in 1841.
Re the Duclos surname. In some cases, it was a dit or aka with the Carignan surname. I mention this because I have, in my databas,e a Hyacinthe Duclos-Carignan married 1913 in Gentilly, Nicolet. I do not know if he had a son named Hyacinthe.Nicolet is about 80 miles from Marieville. If you wish any more info on these families, e-mail me at nckowal@optonline.net
Chris
