Can you tell me if your Duclos Family remained in the Eastern Ontario area for the 1800s?

I have a cousin that is trying to research his Duclos roots and believes that his mother was born in Kemptville area. Her father, William Morton Duclos (1885-1961)and his family were believed to have come from the Montreal area and digging back further than that he believes that they originated in the New England area.

Any information that you can share would be most helpful and I will certainly pass this on to my cousin for his research.
