An abstract of the marriage record for William Howard to Ellender Duclos is posted on the website www.vienici.com/moabs/ It reads "Mr William Howard of Breathett Co., Kentucky & Miss Ellender Duclos of Washington Co., MO; married on 1 August 1861 by E. Z. Coleman, JP of Liberty Twp., Washington Co., MO; present: N. B. Jackson, Henry Pratte, Jacob Duclos."

It seems likely she was the daughter of Charles Vital Duclos & wife, Keziah (Brown)Duclos, but I have not seen proof of that. Charles & Keziah are also my ancestors.
