Since the family was Anglican, I'm betting that it's the same family.
Everything you have fits EXACTLY.

Duclos is a very old, very French Canadian name, and it's almost always Catholic. Mine is the only DUCLOS family I've ever come across in Quebec that was Anglican.

I'll write you a longer story about the family tomorrow.

In the meantime I'm going to try and track down a marriage record for FW and Louise, as well as the full church record for Mary and Clarence. It might list the wedding party.

As far as US origins, FW's father was FD Duclos who was born in Vermont. FW's grandfather was Francis Duclos who was a Revloutionary war hero.
