Hi Dan, in reply to your question, I do not have a definite birth or death date for F.W. Duclos. Here are a couple of things I do know:
1. The marriage notice for my grandfather and grandmother(Mary Duclos) posted in the Montreal daily Star on 6/20/1884 states Mary's father was the late F.W. Duclos.
2.The 1881 Montreal census lists Louise Duclos(mother of Mina) as a widow, age 50, and lists her children; E.Francis, 24; W.Sutton, 22; and Minie(Mary)19. Louisa was born in Ontario,probably around 1830 if you subtract her age from the census date. It is indicated that Parents would have been of U.S. origin. The children were born in Quebec. They were all Anglican.
