The name could be Wilce, but, it still looks very much like Wilie to me. I have a printed copy of the census. Until now, I did not know that Lidge and his family moved to Decatur. Of course, Swallow bluff is just across the river from where they lived in 1850. I found Gus in the 1880 census a long time ago, Inez had confused him with my uncle William H. White. Do you have this family in 1870?
