Hi Tim

Before I know whether I have any information that might be of interest to you, can you tell me where your father was born or lived as you did not say. Where are you yourself based?

My branch of the Duckenfields were born in Yorkshire, England and from there went to Mossley in Lancashire, England in the late 19th century, but there were others born in Yorkshire who emigrated to the USA and settled in Pennsylvania. I do know quite a bit about these Duckenfields even though I have not discovered a link with my Duckenfields. I also have a contact in the States who is descended from this particular branch.

Let me know if I can be of further help.

Best wishes
Anne L Harvey

P S I'm a Mrs actually, but no one is too formal in genforum so please call me Anne.
