Hello again:

I have done some further digging and it seems I was wrong with respect to the grand dads place of birth. He was apparently born in the Peel region, moving to Manitoba sometime prior to the 1901 census. However, I can find no reference to a Mary Jane. My grandmothers name was reportedly Mary Ann.
I can find nothing to indicate a relationship with Bloodvien, Mb. But then, I'm working mostly from stories handed down through what little family I can trace.
I have seen my grandparents graves in B.C. at a cemertary in Burnaby.
I'm wondering if perhaps Mary Jane may have been a sister.

Blessings

Bob Duck
