Drybrough Family Genealogy Forum
I am not sure if this "David" is related, but let me give you some facts. My grandmother's maiden name was "Dryburgh" (spelling may have been "Drybrough"). Anyway, her grandfather was a William Dryburgh who had a son named David (apparently my grandmother's Uncle). My grandmother's father was Adam Dryburgh and he had a brother named David.
The data I have indicates David's father was William Dryburgh from Dundee, Scotland. I have David's birthdate as 2/21/1864 but no location of his birth. Genealogical data suggests William came to Canada, my great grandfather moved to Oregon and that my grandmother was born in Oregon. She went to Culver City, CA and then wound up in Bakersfield, CA.
This is probably a lot more than you need to know. articlarly if there is no relation. However, the "Drybrough" name and Scotland triggered my memory of my research in this area. You may have already found that the "Drybrough" name is not very common. I would be glad to help you whether or not we have common relatives.
