While searching I ran across a post by MEGAN as follows:

"Daniel GUNTAR/GINDER/GINTER and wife Anna Margaret had seven children in Germany: Daniel, Hans Daniel, Catharine, Caroline, Hans "Jacob", Hans "William", and Conrad. Their last son, Peter, was born in PA after the family immigrated to Philadelphia in 1791 aboard the "Diana". Son, William GINTER m. abt 1800 probably in Berks Co. to Catherine DRY (probably of the DRY/DREY/DREH family of Berks). One of the daughters married Daniel NOB/KNOB/KNABB (probably of the Berks Co KNABB family).Everyone moved to Tyrone, Huntingdon-now-Blair, PA just after 1800. William and Catherine (DRY) GINTER had 7 children in Tyron twp: Daniel (1803), Gideon (1806), Judith (1806) m. Joshua B MEADVILLE, Sarah, (1807) m John MADARA, Leah (1812) m Christopher MADARA (yes the brother of John), Caroline (1814), and Perry (1821). Seek ancestors and descendants (especially living!) of all named."

*****I am especially interested in finding a man named John Ginter b ca 1800, whom I believe is the son of Daniel b ca 1880, if the Daniel and Anna Margaret's youngest child was born after 1791, I'm thinking that their oldest son, Daniel could have been married by 1800 and had children. Does anyone have any information on this Ginter family and can help me? Thank you so much. Please contact me at
