Mills Drury migrated to Florida and is found on the 1783 Spanish Census of Florida, listed as having a wife and two children. He lived on the St. Johns River at the mouth of Tomkins Inlet. He later moved across the border into Camden County, GA. Some sources say his wife was Delilah Duke, daughter of Joseph Duke. Mills is mentioned in Joseph Duke's will. Other sources say his wife was Patty, possible EDWARDS.
Elizabeth Drury, sister of Mills, married Major Duke, brother of Delilah.
