I can't tell you about Obed Drury, other than we also believe his son is Hugh Drury. But, Hugh Drury was in the Revolutionary War. He probably arrived in American on the Abigail in 1635 and lived in Sudbury, MA. He was a carpenter, a member of the Freemasons (1654) and owned half of the Castle Tavern. He was a member of the First Church in 1654. He had a sister and at the time of his death her name was Lydia Hawkins.

Hugh married Lydia Rice, the daughter of Edmund Rice, in 1645 at Sudbury, MA. His second wife was Mary fletcher. His children were John, Mary, Thomas and Hugh (died young). He died in Boston, MA on July 6, 1689. His will is dated November 1, 1687 and proved July 30, 1689.
