Hi Gary,

It would take countless hours to explain....but going back three hundred years, we each have approximately a thousand ancestors. But wait! A better way of stating this is that it took approximately 500 couples in order for us to be born. Because our ancestors married into related families. So more often than not, we descend from the same ancestors two to five or even more times. I suspect that you also share a consangunieous relationship with my own Wilburn ancestors. There are at least two known Wilburn and Stovall marriages in VA..before 1800.
