I believe we are talking about the same Elijah, however, as to 2nd wife having last name Bradley, you might be in error.
The reason of my query on Elijah comes form the following.
Petition of February 1823 Otsego County, New York Estate of John Beardsley Sr.
FOR READING AND FILING THE PETITION OF REBECCA BEARDSLEY, JOHN BEARDSLEY, AMOS BEARDSLEY, BENJAMIN BEARDSLEY SETTING FORTH AMONG OTHER THINGS THAT THE SAID PETITIONERS AND THE SAID CHARLES BEARDSLEY, WILLIAM COLWELL, JOHN BROWN AND SALLY HIS WIFE IN RIGHT OF THE SAID SALLY, ELIJAH DREWRY AND POLLY HIS WIFE IN RIGHT OF THE SAID POLLY, LEVI BEARDSLEY, HARVEY BEARDSLEY AND SAPHRONIA BEARDSLEY ARE SENSED AS TENANTS IN COMMON.
So if Elijah had married 2nd a Bradley, why would she be entitled to the estate of a John Beardsley ?
