Hi Lorna,

Here is what I suspect:

John Reynolds Drury is the son of Samuel Drury and Anna Reynolds (married 8 Feb 1808 in Fairfield County, Ohio).

Samuel and Anna had 9 children including sons Joshua and James.

Samuel Drury's bother married Selah Shortrige who is Margaret Shortridge's first cousin one generation removed.
