Will of Ellis Drewry, Jan. 17, 1779, Granville Co., NC, mentions wife Amey (believe she was Amy (Langston) who had been married 1st to William Rose; believe Amy later married 3rd George Bruce.), son William. Executors: Robert Crawley and George Terry of Mecklenburg Co., VA, and son William Drewry. Also states that "I promise when Obey Vowel come to age 21 he shall receive 100 pds. legacy from my estate." Witnesses: John Gwinn, John Harris, Joseph Langston (possibly Amy's brother?), John Landers.
